Overview
Michelle Spencer is a Registered Dental Hygienist who wanted to market herself to dentists in her area. I was hired to create both a business card and a postcard that could be used as a self-promotional mailer to local dentists. Michelle was looking for a design, a colorful, whimsical aesthetic, that would help her stand out among her peers.
Solution
The mood board is a culmination of hand-drawn inspiration, graphics, and a color story. This hand-drawn, vintage, floral tooth illustration, and accompanying fresh teal background, helped brightly convey her personality through a professional design. Apple Chancery, a stately, yet fanciful, font, was the perfect choice for Michelle's cards. The dotted grey lines used to separate content on the front of the business card is functional as well as adds linear interest to the layout.
